Installed a UniFi G4 Doorbell Pro PoE by running new Cat6A Ethernet from the network rack through the basement ceiling and wall to the front entry. Because the brick facade and surrounding wood trim were offset, a custom bracket was designed in Fusion, prototyped in PLA, and produced in nylon for the final installation. The installation required drilling through brick and resulted in a clean, permanent PoE installation. Later added a UniFi PoE Chime inside the house, running a new Cat6A cable from the network rack for power and data. The existing doorbell ringer was removed, a new opening was cut for the chime, and the old screw holes were patched before repainting the area.
